Sawers Family Tree

My paternal grandmother (Elizabeth Yates) is mostly responsible for researching the Sawers family tree. I understand she spent quite a few years trawling through records in Somerset House, London and travelling round the British Isles visiting parish churches for the older documents. This record shows that the Sawers family were as well travelled in the past as they are today.

I worked from my grandmothers original document which is still kept in the envelope in which it was posted to my father. Alas the stamp has been taken, probably for one of our stamp collections, but the envelope is still clearly postmarked 22nd March 1954. Events since then have been added by myself with the help of many.
